Cat and Dog Boarding

Board your pets at Happy Paws while you're on vacation. Boarding is available for cats and dogs. They'll have a great time because our guests spend most of their time playing outside of their suite. Give us a call at (231) 882-9022 to reserve a suite for your pet. Emergency boarding is available.

It's best for your pet to get exercise rather than sit alone in their suite. That's why we offer group and individual play. We're the only place in the area that offers group play and all-day play. We also do one-on-one time, which could be playtime or 30-minute walks for an additional fee.  We have bedtime stuffed Kong treats for you to also purchase.  We stuff them with, peanut butter, pumpkin or yogurt and berries (frozen).   When it's time to rest, your pet will be in a suite with a glass door or a paw print door, raised cot, blankets, and bowls. 

It's best if you bring your dog's food during their stay, but we do offer IAMS dog food. Bring the food you feed your pup if they're on a special diet or have a sensitive stomach. Having their own food can make it easier to be away from home. You may bring toys or bones for them to chew on / play with.  NO rawhide please.

Boarding is available every day of the year. You can drop your pet off or pick them up Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  If you pick up after 11:00 AM you will be charged for that day.  Drop off and pick up times on Saturday is at 8:00 AM and Sunday at 5:00 PM.  Sunday is a day of charge.  Saturday and Sunday is also by appointment only. Boarding costs just $30 per day for dogs and $22 per day for cats.
